A Note To You

This message is reaching you because at some point you connected with Andrea Murray Photography—whether through a session or an inquiry. This note may be exactly for you, and if it is, I hope it meets you right where you are. And if not, that’s okay too—I’ll see you next time.

But today, I wanted to pause and show up for you.

Because life is a gift… and it can also feel heavy.

You give so much - your time, your care, your energy, your heart—day after day. So often, you’re the one holding everyone else up, quietly wondering who’s holding you.

Maybe you shifted your circle.
Maybe you raised your standards.
Maybe you finally decided to take yourself seriously.
Maybe you decided to show up for YOU!

And instead of applause, you were met with silence.
Instead of celebration you were asked questions.
Instead of support, you had to encourage yourself.

I know that space. I find myself there sometimes too.

There are seasons when the wins may be loud - and others where faith has to be louder than everything else. There are days when I ask, Did I really hear God? God, are You there? Do You hear me?  And each time, I’m reminded that I wasn’t called to build where it is comfortable;  but was called to build where it is impactful.

So if no one has told you lately, let me say it:

Keep going.
Keep refining what God has put in your hands.
Keep strengthening your faith.
Keep protecting your peace.
Keep showing up with excellence, even when the room feels quiet.

Maybe... you were never meant to blend in. Maybe... you were created to stand out, to lead, and to serve those you’re meant to reach - exactly when they’re meant to find you. But in your serving, don't forget self care!

Here’s one small action for this week (just one):

Today, I challenge you to take 30 minutes to think and acknowledge something that has been draining you. And then decide what you will implement to change it. Small shifts will create momentum.

If you’re tired, REST.
If you’re discouraged, PAUSE.
JUST. DON'T. QUIT

Remember, God wastes no opportunity - and we shouldn't either.  It is ALL working for our GOOD to get us to the EXPECTED END. Wishing you a peaceful and powerful start to the new year.
